The Beauty That Came From The Cold

Regardless of whether it’s Siberian, Alaskan or Greenland, a Husky is a wonder to behold. Lean, powerful and majestic, Huskies have long been indispensable helpers to people living in Arctic regions. These dogs offer us the opportunity to get as close as possible to wolves without fearing for our lives. Just the opposite, actually – these dogs will lavish affection on you and will make wonderful, perky companions who enjoy being around people.

The name Husky does not refer to a specific breed but to a group of dogs developed by people in northern regions to pull sleds. We’ll take a closer look at the Siberian Husky, which is the type most commonly found as a household pet.

“Beautiful” does not even begin to describe a Siberian Husky! Medium in size and strongly built, it immediately catches your attention with its keen, intelligent expression and amazing eyes. What sets this dog apart from other Huskies is the common occurrence of blue eyes; sometimes you can even see a Siberian Husky with one blue and one brown eye. But whatever colour its eyes may be, this is a dog that has far more to offer than the mere pleasure of looking at its arresting exterior. A Siberian Husky bonds naturally with children, which makes it a wonderful family pet. As they are dogs who are used to pack life, Siberian Huskies do not succumb to jealousy and possessiveness and are happy to share their space.

If you own a Husky, we’ll understand if you are loath to part with your gorgeous and affectionate creature for any length of time. This is where our equally gorgeous charm comes into play, offering you the opportunity to feel close to your Husky wherever you may be.
